It offers 384 high-quality instrument sounds including strings, guitars, brass, saxophones, and drums. A dedicated button lets you quickly switch to a rich Grand Piano sound. You can also add reverb, chorus, and EQ to sweeten your sound. There are 130 auto-accompaniment styles with a backing band capable of playing in a wide variety of musical genres such as pop, rock, jazz, dance, Latin, and world music to name a few. The Easy Chord function allows you to play chord voicings using only one, two, or three fingers. Jam with the band, and use the single-track MIDI song recorder to capture your performance and play it back later. Yamaha Education Suite (YES) allows you to practice at your own pace using the 112 preset songsâ€"one hand at a time or both together. Just call up a song and hit Start. Duo mode splits the keyboard in two, great for practicing with a partner or with your teacher. A Chord Study function is onboard to let you hear and experience the sound of simple chords and progressions.
